Oh my god. I love it. Whoever figured this mod out, Thank you from a short guy who doesn't have to sit too close to the wheel now. Had no problems starting the car. The clutch seems to grab about a inch above it. I could probably back it out a bit more if I want to. Hmmmm. I just might.

One thing they teach us in performance driving is that if you can't push the clutch in all the way without having a bend in your knee, you're sitting too far away.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Looks good NorCalzman. If I didn't have tints on my car I would definitely consider those!

Pondering whether or not to buy a 323i complete (E21). We believe it was Federalized, but not necessarily for Cali (has long expired Nevada registration). Will have to look into it some more before I do anything. Makes more sense than trying to convert my 320 into a 6cyl. Everything depends on what sort of condition it's in because this guy is old and wants you to physically show up, no pics - just description. My buddy is supposed to make a trip to go see it, he will let me know soon enough. Until then the spending on the E21 will be put to a min/only parts that are interchangeable on a 323i.
