Unfortunate update. Car is at shop. Hit a mailbox after taking a corner too hard in less than ideal conditions. Damage is minimal in perspective to both my car and the mailbox post.

What I can gather after tearing the car apart yesterday I will need a new radiator and core support.

Stewart WP, new thermostat. New idler and tensioner pulleys. New front brake rotors. Replacing RTABs and FCABs and control arms. I have had an Umnitza bumper since purchasing the car as it was necessary.

The good news is that I have all of the parts aside from the rad and core support. So just paying labor and paint for the most part. This has been an emotional few days after contemplating the idea of harvesting those things from the 328i. Glad to get things moving however, the car will be perfect in the end. Just super annoyed that I have to deal with the core support and the radiator.

Also, good news, I started the 328i and drove it around the block. Parked it in the driveway. It idles rough and the gas pedal is a bit touchy. But I moved it...

That's good news about you driving the 328. But, I think it's time to update the pic on your signature. I vote for one that shows both cars.

Yeah me too...I'll get one when the car is out of the shop. 328i is going to be sold before 12/20. Mom wants it gone.

Nope. I only have one of the car at the shop. But I had removed the bulk of things at the time.

Even though it's a bad picture, the car is missing all lights and the front bumper. Intake housing is off, as well as the front fender liners and brake ducts.

I took the shot from the neighboring gas station when I was filling up the Altima.
