Those hours will come in short spurts due to work and school priorities. I spent a good part of the afternoon cleaning up oil and stuff from the housing leak and didn't even start the OS until late...

Ccv took my BMW tech a few hours with me sorta helping, and he's done hundreds of them. It's a pain.

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

I replaced my expansion tank, hoses, and leaking radiator this morning with BP's help

Yes....I know my power steering reservoir is dirty. I'll get to it once it warms up around here...

    New radiator always looks nice

A very big thank you to JP for sending out his red Samco silicon hoses and BP for providing assistance on this repair

BP also coded my instrument cluster for a more accurate speedo and temp gauge

Where is the thread that details the speedo coding? I have only seen the temp gauge.

I really hope that my lug nuts weren't over-torqued.

I just went through this with my local mechanic. Only worse, my wheel locks were just as tight and needed to be drilled out. Even worse still, this was on my almost new VMR VB3's. I'd bring it back to the shop that last put your wheels on and have them buzz them off. 67 ft/lbs is all these need.

This is what my wheel lock looked like after they ruined my only key...

That chunk of paint missing was from when one of their mechanics tried to hammer a socket over them, and missed a swing with the hammer. I think I scared him a little when I screamed at him for that. After having watched him do it he has the balls to say "that was always there" /rant
