Well mine are now different because of my recent accident the passenger headlight needed replacing and an AL unit is what was sourced.

So possibly one had to be replaced at some point?

To those with h&r springs: did you go with race or sport springs, and why? How many inches did it lower your car? If you're running spacers, what size are you using?

I switched out the stock suspension on my former E30 and ran Koni yellows with H&R Sport springs. I didn't want to make the ride too harsh even though the car was supposed to me more track-biased. Drop was acceptable over stock, yet still allowed me to clear most speed bumps without issue. FWIW, I do not yet have Koni's on my ZHP, but I will certainly add them in the future. Good luck hunting down the ideal suspension setup.

What is another way to tell apart ZKW headlights versus Al headlights on the sedans? I know there is a stamp on the lenses however is there another way to know?

They are different on the back.

And the ballasts are in slightly different locations.

I can post a pic next week once my car is back and I have some free time.

Gentlemen, a couple of shots of the backside of the ZKW lights, taken during the E90 bowl swap. Vas, maybe these will be helpful. Sorry that everything else that I have is more up-close on the actual bowl swap conversion, and apologies for the somewhat poor cell-phone camera image quality.

I know there is 1 Dakar Yellow ZHP produced.

I'm not sure about other E46s though because Dakar was mainly an E36 M3 color.

This car isn't a zhp and it's a different yellow than what was posted above (Dakar yellow). It's slightly darker.

Thanks for those images. If anybody has more of the healight assemblies, that would be great.

Would be helpful when I remove the headlights to find out why its different. Btw IIRC, the mounting brackets are also different right between the two assemblies?

Hmmmm maybe. This is a sedan, so definitely not an m3, although that might be what he was trying to do since he has M3 front and rear bumpers with the CSL trunk.
