Was the 2er still a part of dealer inventory, or a customer car? If dealer sad to see the front plate holder already drilled into the bumper on the 228. Maybe the customer would want to abstain and rather have a front tow mount option for the plate. Even Valencia orange cannot hide such a heinous inequity.
Either way nice touch with the shadow grills.

I dunno I thought the 2 series is a pretty good looking car in person. I believe this specific 2 series is still dealer inventory as it was lined up next to a lot of very expensive BMWs. I sat in it plenty and it is a very nice car. The seats fit me like a glove. I will own one someday.
My ZHP got lots of attention at this meet though so I am a proud papa. Lots of nice cars there.
