Replaced the clips on my moonroof sliding shade, lubed up the tracks, and FINALLY have a properly-working shade. That was so easy, I'm not sure why I didn't do it 2-1/2 years ago...

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Also, looked at KW replacement parts and their pricey but gorgeous hydraulic lift systems. :

I actually did this Friday but haven't had time to post it until now...

Installed a tri-stitch alcantara wheel in my ZHP, as well as mounted the BBS CH wheels. My gawd this car is so much sexier now.

I used GooGone which worked like a charm, but dealing with the sticky shit afterwards is the biggest PITA. My hands were black for two days.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

What DIY did you use to do this? The sun shade on my ///M is broke and needs the clips replaced. I have all the clips to do this. If its as easy as you say then I will be doing this over the upcoming weekend

Super easy DIY, it will be very helpful to have a friend to hold the glass for you though so you can properly re-align it with the roof when you're done.
