This is more for my cooling project tomorrow but how does one bleed the system with the performance intake? I really dont want to have to put the old intake back on if I do not have to (but I will if I have to, I guess).

I’m curious what the intake has to do with bleeding the cooling system? Are you just concerned about running the engine without the intake installed (since the Perf one does kinda get in the way of the tank and bleeder screw)? You can run the engine without an intake installed, just don’t throw anything into the MAF.

Yeah, I havent been to my car in ~5 weeks but I thought I remember the top half of the intake covering the bleeder screw.
Ok so you say its ok to take the top of the intake off and run it. Got it.

A BMW mechanic ran my car without the intake installed on my car. I guess it's acceptable for short periods of time.

I took my e90 for alignment. My indy charges $180, but I know they do a great job.
Well after three full years of reliable service I have finally received an SES light. Gas cap was tight as a tiger. No power issues. Fuel economy lately ha actually been better than usual. Eager to scan the code tomorrow morning
