Mine didn't take quite that much. Be sure to open the bleed screw near the filler cap when you do the fan/heater.

I have tried that and a small pipe wrench, its slightly cross threadedOuch. Do you have enough material sticking out to use vise grips ?
As for me... Replaced a dead lightbulb in the tail lights.I have bolt extraction kit on the way to me right now. The z4m fcab's are somewhat difficult to get lined up, the first side was difficult but all went together right.

All done. A BMW tech friend randomly stopped by and lent a hand with the reinstall of everything. Made it much faster.
His fill practice made me nervous. He took off my cap and bleeder screw and filled it until it came out of the screw and said "ok done. Tomorrow just add a bit more to get it to normal and your good to go."
He doesn't seem to subscribe to The typical ONE WAY ONLY fill/bleed procedure they do over on e36fanatics.
I am about to drive back into SF so fingers crossed I don't overheat on the golden gate. Haha
