    Why couldn't you install them? Was it because of aftermarket lenses?

    I would change em... I did my seals. It requires a lot of pushing down on the lens but it's not impossible

    I couldn't get the lenses to snap close once the new seals were in. I struggled with each one for probably 20 min before I gave up.

    It seemed the old seal was still sufficient.

    IIRC someone here bought seals a few months back and they were several mm thinker than OE.

    Survived my first use of a spring compressor.

    How do I remove this spring perch? (Is it a perch? I'm a suspension noob.) I want to say that it screws off the threads, but it doesn't want to budge.

    Take a torch to the perch, get it hot, and strike it with a rubber mallet. Should spin free.
