    I would.

The money of any suspension kit is contained within the damper. These dampers cannot effectively dampen springs as well as other shocks.

It has probably been proven on shock dynos, but even when you ride in cars with these shocks, there is a difference.

Not hating on the suspension, because it is well priced. Just know what you're getting

Not necessarily missing anything, rather that as the quality of the parts increases, so does cost, which is why other suspension is more expensive. For example, if you look at spring compression graphs for BC springs and other Taiwanese coilovers, you'll see that they can be as much as +-50 pounds per inch off of their advertised rate; that, compared to Swift springs, which test within +-5lbs per inch.

Then there is the damper itself, which is the main part.

I don't think he's saying it's a bad coilover, but that more expensive coilovers are more expensive for a reason and that that premium is worth it when it comes to ride quality.

What about a "Tracked car vs Daily Driver" suspension? Most of us will not be buying these for anything but DD, myself included.

Outside of spring rates, most track suspension has the adjustability to also be used on the street, and with better results.

But will the dampening rate matter less on a DD or would it still be something to be wary of and therefore better to spend for more quality, or is that just an issue for racing?

Depending on the spring rate, you need a damper that can effectively dampen that spring without over or under oscillation
