Sonax doesn't take off baked on brake dust and grime if you haven't cleaned it for a month like Alex. He failed to to mention that he used a hammer and chisel to make his wheels look that way. LOL

There is no way on this green earth I would EVER clean wheels without either BMW Wheel Cleaner or Sonax (pretty much the same product) ever again. Yes, it's that good.

There have been times I haven't cleaned my wheels for a month and the wheel cleaner handled it like a CHAMP. Everything came off.

The way I do it is spray the Sonax before I do the rinse and dry on my car, and then, use this big-ass brush with my remaining soapy water bucket to clean up the wheels. The Sonax loosens up the brake dust, and the brush cleans everything very well. It's taken a beating due to the 135M design, but it still works very well. Takes me ~10 mins to do all 4 corners.

Do you guys clean the inside of the wheels too? On mine the horizontal part behind the spokes is pretty dark. Not even sure there is paint left there.

Yea, the barrels. May take some elbow grease + if they haven't been done in a while. You need a longer conical brush.
