Yes, unfortunately I did. Definitely not on purpose. As they said, not good for your fuel pump, but I didn't have any residual effects.

Well fortunately, I have had no side effects either. And it will be my last time for this risk. My wife wouldn't let me live that down, especially if she had to scoop me up from along side of the road, lol. (I always keep her X3 M-Sport well fueled... ;-{D )

I have CREE LED reverse lights on my car that I got from khoalty. They are about as bright as you are going to find. Don't know if khoalty still sells them, but they were fairly inexpensive

Personally I recommend either 1) ripping off the fabric (this is what I did), or 2) replacing. Some people had success with gluing it while some have not had success with that.

I think it looks fine without it even on there, so I'd just rip it.

It still seems to be fairly solid. I was able to put it back up by hand and it held fine. Guess I'll try gluing for now.
Any glue suggestions?
