Dunno, I had a nail in a pretty similar place on my F30. Goodyear place said it had to be replaced but they didn't sell the Bridgestone's so I went to an NTB. That guy said no problem to patch.

Not really what I did today but what I will be doing on Sunday.....

I will be making the trip up to New Hampshire where I will be rebuilding a fellow Mafia member's ZKW headlight assembly restoring his lighting using OEM M3 AL projector assemblies. Pretty much the same way I rebuilt Botond's and my headlight assemblies. I have been waiting two years to help this member so I'm guessing his lighting is really bad....stay tuned for pics of his severely burned out projector bowls....I would expect to see them seriously cracked....

Mine are pretty bad as well. I'll hopefully be fixing the problem within the month.

It was a ton a fun working on your car with you. Plus, I got a good preview for doing mine in which Gary helped (and a few others).... thus paying it forward.

Yeah, having you, Jeff, and Kyle (Ryan's Kyle) there to help really boosted my confidence to tear into my engine like that being far from home. It was an awesome experience to be at the reunion meet, having my car parked inside Dane's garage doing this sort of maintenance.

Today during my lunch break, I found myself sitting in my ///M enjoying the heat generated by the sun listening to some Austrailian Pink Floyd in my "upgraded BMW car stereo", thanks to Kyle (static667). I decided to treat my BMW perforated leather steering wheel (where did I get this from???), F10 lit shift knob, and boots with a very good coat of leather treat so it can easily work it's way into the leather in the nice sunny day we're having in Rhode Island this afternoon. It was a very relaxing lunch break and I'm ready to knock off some work this afternoon.... it was a vey stress-free day at work today

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Tweaked the toe on my ZHP last night. Body shop replaced right inner tie rod and I declined the alignment. A few days ago I determined the right side had too much toe-out, so I brought it in 3 "flats" or 180 degrees (half turn) on the tie rod. Yesterday I noticed my wheel was turned just a tiny bit to the right when the car was going straight, so I turned both adjusters 60 degrees to the right. Today the steering wheel seemed pretty straight. But I don't know how much total toe-in I have.

Then finished swapping in new 82mm wheel studs. Prior to accident, I had swapped studs on 3 wheels but not the 4th. Now all the wheel studs match!

Want to go back to softer (440/550 lb/inch) springs on the ZHP but the E36 is not track ready yet.
