What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Just got back from taking my ///M out on a warmup run on the highway....its been about two weeks since I have driven it...

Had a 335 Coupe (1st gen E92) come up on me (father/son with son driving) both gave me a thumbsup and wave on my ///M, I waved back then put my car into Sport mode w/ aggressive Sprint Booster and took off....

All I can say was......daaayyymmmm! What a feeling!!

Pulled the ZHP out of hibernation. XJ is still having front suspension/death wobble issues. Giving it to a good friend/mechanic to solve it. Feels soo good to drive her again! :D

Got a lot done, actually! Finally installed the Koni Sport struts on the 330Ci (did the rear shocks last weekend) I've actually had the parts for more than a year, just couldn't get around to putting them in.

I've read that new struts take a bit of time to 'break in' - what's the consensus of the experts here, is that true? Just wondering when it's safe to form a real opinion of the upgrade. Either way, it IS an upgrade....appears the old struts were original with 102K on them!

Also got my dash trim swapped out from the brushed aluminum to the black cube pieces I bought. Huge improvement, in my opinion... Sorry for the crappy pics - the trim isn't as shiny as the flash makes it appear. Will try to get better pics in natural light, but it looks very nice with the Rustoleum satin black.

I think I've heard as much as 5-10k for suspension to settle. That always seemed high to me.

Drove to Manhattan with the GF to see some of her friends for the weekend, 26.77 MPG averaging 75 or so. Pretty pumped about that.
