I used to run this in my virtual PC environment (VMware Fusion) on my MacBook Pro but I have since gotten a dedicated Windows laptop for this purpose.

What? A dedicated Windows laptop with all the BMW software installed?
If that's the case you will also require two diffrrent types of OBD II interfaces to go with the laptop
