What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

For the ddm 35w 9006 5000k kit, do you need any modification to the fog itself, how does the 5000k compare to the OE light putput on our cars? Would like it to match.

Do you also need to purchase mounting brackets, HID harness, error eliminators, adapter cables?

I'm running the DDM slim ballast 35W 9006 6000k HID kits for both my BMWs.

There are no modifications necessary to install the 9006 HID bulbs into the fogs. The 5000k bulbs are more white than the OE (4300k) bulbs. More of a whitish-yellow color but more on the white side.

No need to purchase error eliminators for fogs. I don't have them. No mounting brackets either. 3M double sided tape is all I used. I did route a seperate wiring harness for my fogs however. I recommend doing this

i have NEVER dealt with lights before on any of my vehicles hence the new guy questions, so my apologies.

depends on what you're after. If it's for form and function then go with the 6000k bulbs. They are whitish-blue but not too blue...more on the white side. The 5000k bulbs are on the opposite side being more white but on the yellow side... the 5000k will provide more light output (distance) than the 6000k. Either should look okay. Right now I'm on the 6000k side.

I like the sound of projector fogs...what did BP do on Wobz? I seem to remember X5 fogs from bfest?
