My first problem was trying to decide which crater to photograph. Yes, this was a problem because there are SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM in my area. Really fucking sad, honestly.

The majority of them were about as bad as the one you posted, Patrick; some were even worse than that. None of those weren't going to cut it, so I went to my usual places and found ALL of them had been patched up this weekend. Murphy's law, of course.

So I started roaming down another street that I very rarely go down knowing that it is littered with suspension-destroying craters and found a new one that tops all the other available ones! After much fiddling around with my phone trying to get it to light up the area as well as the "action of choice", I gave up and went home to grab my DSLR.

Here it is, after much effort to capture the essence of what I'm trying to get at...

    Notes:
The metal manhole cover is probably the only one in my entire zip code that isn't recessed, so it provides the perfect reference point for where the pavement actually is and how deep the hole is. The hole's deepest point is 3x the thickness of the metal plate below the surface of the highest point of asphalt! The water covers a little bit of it. I had to get on my hands and knees for this one!

This road is LITTERED with holes that are a bit lesser than this, but enough to cause suspension damage. While trying to take the picture I had at least 3 cars come by blasting down this road at about 30mph. It's not a busy road, but damn, they apparently don't care about their cars at all.
I didn't want to win your challenge, but I know the perfect place. You can see some of the bad ones behind my car, but you have to be real careful not to go over the edge here:

" Welcome to Macho Taco. May I take your order? " ... On a serious note, I respectfully request to apply Rule #5 because I was driving the Saab.
