Also don't care if I can't buy one used. I'd be buying new anyway.

Sorry Gary - since you are so motivated to get me to change my mind:

    Why don't I want a sport button?
Because I shouldn't need to push a button to get it to do what I want. It's another light illuminating at night. It's more modification to wiring and other things that I just don't care about.

Why would you not want to buy a used one for 1/2 the price? Several of us bought used ones a not once had a issue.

Because I don't want Sprint Booster. I want PedalBox. If I can't buy one used then I obviously can't have one half price.

So, could we please move on? I will not change my mind. Once I try the PB then I'll see if I really want to buy it. If not, I'll be staying stock.

It's okay BP, you don't need to get Sprint Booster.

I ordered both and tried them. Kept Pedalbox.

Pedalbox is better just because it's so adjustable. I think there is a more linear response on the "data" (ha) they provide.

I found Sprintbooster to give extra butt dyno at low RPMS but then the car felt dead over 5k. Pedalbox isn't as bad but definitely not perfect.

Only downside to Pedalbox is that the cord is very thick and not very long. It's hard to put it in an optimal position but I tucked mine under the center console trim and have it under the e-brake for access. You can't stretch it much farther.

Brett, has that been done before in the long history of the E36 and E46? And I would think it would take some computer wizardry to code the DME and tell it that it no longer has [complete] control over the throttle but the meaty mass in the car does...
