daniel, i'd paint the whole thing. the stripe - with even just a little bit of CF - looks too 'over the top' for your car, in my opinion...

what's going on with your roof?

The CSL bootlid looks good, but I'd paint is all silver (with the exposed CF exactly the way Sean has his in the above pics) to make it look as OE as possible while still adding that slight touch to it, since that goes with the theme of your car (the way BMW SHOULD have built it).
THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOU GUYS AND THIS SITE. =D

Thanks for the honest feedbacks. Yes, I will be painting it soon.

Daniel, I would keep the CSL bootlid as clean as possible. Too much exposed carbon fiber with TiAg would look tacky. With TiAg, leaving the top center portion exposed would be the best way (just like how it looks on Sean's M3) in my opinion.

If I didn't get my OEM CSL bootlid, Sean wouldn't have his bootlid because it would still be on my ///M. When I had that bootlid mounted on my M3 I got a lot of complements from people and I'm sure Sean gets a lot of complements on his bootlid It is done in such a way that unless you're really looking you won't notice the exposed carbon fiber (looking at the car from the side). You can see it here when I used to have this bootlid....Whenever I see Sean's ///M I still admire the look

Your car is one of the cleanest TiAg's on this forum... I would keep it looking that way

I didn't know that this use to be yours! I love the look and the centre exposed carbon is very unique. I wonder if my painter knows how to do it.
