    Warning: some non-ZHP info...

Starting Saturday, I replaced the front brakes on my Odyssey (just pads), front and rear pads and rotors on my e61 (fronts Sat., rears Sunday)...when doing the rears I discovered that my (yes I knew they needed replacement) tires had actually worn to the threads. So new tires went on Tuesday. In the midst of the brake work, I gave my ZHP a much needed bath, changed the oil, and spent some time cleaning around the very rear-most corner of the valve cover where a very minor oil dribble had pooled enough to start dripping on the first cat making the car smell like burning oil.

I also let my neighbor get a taste of ZHP goodness....he just recently bought a e90 335 coupe....I'd been telling him to look for a ZHP but somehow the twin scrolls spoke to him (Im guessing because he never actually found a ZHP to drive, even though I'd offered to let him drive mine). In any case, I have a feeling I might have given him some buyers regrets on his 335 after feeling the smooth and endless power delivery of the ZHP. Plus he had to get an auto since his wife can't drive a manual....and I think feeling how smooth the ZHP shifted made him wish for a manual too....oh well!

The photos are of the e61...was pretty pleased with how relatively clean everything was in the undercarriage....but but before doing any removal I still sprayed everything down with simple green and scrubbed what I could.

I think it is my garage door. It is two sided and insulated. I have to be right in front of the door for it to open. But when park on 2nd driveway, the frequency/signals are greatly diminished.

Did you just pick up the e61? My parents have one. Bought it with like 15k on it. Radiator died at 30k. A few other annoying things, like the hood struts failed at 40k, some buttons on the dashboard have broken, etc.. I think it has 60k or less on it. My dad keeps toying with the idea of getting rid of it before it falls apart more.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Well, these did. Buttons do just break. My previous iPhone button broke, and I'm gentle on all of my possessions. Except the ZHP when at autox!

The work was done yesterday, but it was too dark to post pics so here's a pic from earlier today. Fresh Leatherique treatment on all seats and headrests, door cards, shift knob and boot, handbrake boot, and my old steering wheel (not pictured). Once I wiped off all the Leatherique last night, I installed my brand new M3 tri-stitch steering wheel. This is by far the most satisfying thing I've done to my car for a while.

Yes, touching isn't quite enough... stroking is more like it.

This is getting out of hand already.

Bought Bosch wiper blades yesterday, and ran some Techron fuel injector cleaner through it today.
