    Nice pick-up. Year? Miles?

Btw how did you go about getting the cluster to show that the rear doors open? I was highly considering putting an M3 cluster and making it work mostly for the oil temp gauge.

    It's a 2004 with 165k miles.

Rear doors I haven't actually done yet, but I know how. You have to install the LEDs and appropriate resistors -- the spot is there, just unpopulated. When I get around to doing that part (maybe this weekend) I'll post details. It is tough to buy LEDs that match the stock color exactly, so I would recommend either salvaging them from another cluster or just replacing all of them so that they all match each other.

Do you have a link to the m3 cluster retrofit//write up? Didn't know that was possible with our cars and I love that cluster? Fully functional as if it were in an M? Coded for mileage accurate mileage?

No write up since I didn't write one yet.

Everything works except the warmup LEDs (which can be made to work with an arduino or something along those lines)

Awesome news. Looking forward to it.

I would love to get one into my car eventually and get rid of the mpg needle. An oil temp is more important.

Edit: One last question. What about the redline?

As it sits, the wrong redline is shown (but the car will still stop at 6800). Eventually I plan on having something sit on the CAN-bus to trigger the warm up lights, and have them stop at 6500 or 7000RPM. And I might change the 7000 and 7500 LEDs from orange to red.
