How does Seafoam work, just like any other engine cleaner/additive?

Somewhat. Part of it goes in the gas tank, part of it goes into the oil and the third part goes into the intake manifold through a vacuum port.
If you pour it into the oil, you have to do an oil change shortly after driving the car for a certain amount of miles
