Do you know if those work with the BMWP strut bar?

I don't think so - they're made to slide down over the mounting bolts for the strut mounts, so I'd assume that the strut bar would interfere. Here's a couple of pics of them I stole from a Bimmerfest post...

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - an e46fanatic

They really do not look like they would cover the strut bar unless you do some cutting or reconfiguration. They look more like cosmetics to make the engine bay look smoother.

I bought them from ECS Tuning, but I suspect any BMW parts supplier can get them. Note that they are not a 'stock' item at ECS (or Bav Auto, from what I gather) so it may take a bit longer than usual to get them. Took a week for mine to show up.

    ECS item #49 943 $9.68 each

Warranty replacements. The shafts were pitted on the originals.
The whole warranty process was relatively painless...
I got all the other parts for the refresh of the shocks. Adding the reinforcement plates while I'm at it

It's been a long time since I really spent any time doing maintenance and replacement of old worn parts. This is going to feel good...
How much did this all run you? This is something I hope to do this coming summer since my car still feels relatively tight in the twisties lol

I got the Bilstein strut mounts on sale from ECS for $34.75 ea. Also the reinforcement plates were from ECS. $9.95 ea.
The the upper and lower rubber spring insulators, dust boots and bumpers came from the dealer. They were $40 but my wife gets an employee discount. I don't think they are much more than that at ECS or other places

Not a huge BMW day for me, but still a great car day... Washed both the X and the M today, nice having them both clean. More importantly, I went to the local track and hung out with my buddy while he took his Exocet out for a few laps. Holy hell, what a blast!!

Today I replaced my valve cover gasket, grommets for all the bolts, vanos oil line and crush washers, oil level sensor, and did an oil change with filter. I also installed the wheel studs that I bought from Daniel. It took a long time since it was my first time doing the VCG myself, and it took me a little while to figure out how much Loctite to use on the studs and how much torque to apply. It's been a long but successful day.

Now if I can just figure out what I need to code on my car with regards to the level sensor... That was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise.
