You can get a pair from khoalty for $80. Big improvement in visibility, aka safety. Well worth doing it ASAP.

Ordered this little guy today, getting ready to do an oil change on the X5... The M3 takes the same socket as the ZHP, so I'm all good there...

No problem . I will say that most shops will give you a break on pricing if you have the seat or seats you want worked on already out of the vehicle. Less work for them and they can give you a better idea of what's needed during the initial inspection.

Thanks! I figured I would bring the car to them for the estimate and then just the seat for the repair. Not exactly sure which route I'll go yet as far as repairing it though.

They're aftermarket... they require the resistor boxes to be plugged in. No resistor box = error lights.

I also bought a Euro LCM from him, he sent me only the face so it would be "Plug N Play" but I doubt that.. Considering just selling it for what I paid for, not sure as of yet as its pretty cool lol
Technically that's just a faceplate, not an LCM. It is plug and play, though you'll need coding to make the rear fog lights actually illuminate. If you install it as-is, pressing the rear fog button will do nothing but illuminate the indicator for it on the cluster. No rear fogs will actually be active until it's coded.

The one you have is for 1) non-RLS equipped cars (Rain Light Sensor), and 2) vehicles without autoleveling, both of which your car has now. You can still use it, but the leveling rollers will do nothing and you won't have Auto capability.
