there is a trade-off to having an awesome sounding stereo system but my ///M is a fun "weekend" car so the trade-off doesn't bother me too much

there's a short somewhere in the amp. Every time I try to hook it back to the stereo system I blow the 4 30amp fuses on the amp

Those alpine R subs are the only ones I will ever buy. Love them, had'em in a few cars.

yeah, they put out an impressive deep bass and punch!

I've always gone with 10 inch subs because of that exact reason, put that in the right box and they hit hard

exactly! There are a few members here who have heard my setup in person... all were impressed with the sound output and quality. Kyle is the "car stereo whisperer"
