Installed tranny mounts, bled brakes, swapped winter wheels for 135/PSSs. Took her on a spirited run out in the country. Tried the Koni fronts at 0, but it was too soft. Dialed them to 3/4 for now--better.
Old mounts were very soft and mailable.
Old and new mounts:

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous
18x9 ET 42 Apex EC-7's / BC Racing BR Type Coilovers / GruppeM Intake
ECS SS Brake Lines / Coby Wheel Wrap w/ Tri-Stitch / 35% Tint / BavSound Stage 1 / Stett Intake Boots / OE Euro Clears
I didn't get into first much, but it did seem to go in easier. I hope that keeps up.

I replaced the fuel filter earlier today with a new Mahle filter. I had a feeling that the filter I was going to replace was the original 12 yr old filter with 129k miles, and it was. Clearly could see the April 2004 date stamp on the filter. Surprisingly, very little 'gunk' came out of the old filter. I replaced the small vacuum line as it was falling apart, and used new BMW clamps.
I'll be replacing the hazard/lock switch in the center console in a few minutes. My tape repair on the original switch only lasted a week before the lock switch quit again.

There are few things more expensive than a cheap BMW...
Thanks I also played around with the smoke machine I bought from Drummrxx. I may have detected a small leak down near the lower intake boot but it was hard to tell and I was too lazy to take it any farther apart. Maybe another day...

There's a water-cooled alternator in there somewhere...
