Front coilovers installed, no more low speed clunk over bumps. It started raining so the rears will have to wait until later this week. It looks great even with the stock rears.

So....with rain forecasted for this morning, I figured it'd be the perfect opportunity to replace the leaking radiator in my e61.
An old Omaha Steaks shipping cooler was the perfect catch can for the coolant!
It is amazing how much crap accumulates between the radiator and the A/C condenser coil.
The evidence of coolant bleeding...
After that I gave both cars a bath and even spent some time rubbing and waxing the hood of the zhp.
Afterwards, my daughter and I went for a drive to make sure nothing was leaking and ended up at GMA (Georgia Modelers Association) and got to see some awesome rc piloting! All-in-all a great day. Oh, and no leaks to be found!![]()
2nd fuelup this afternoon, so first time to check the gas mileage: 22mpg over 295 miles, mixed 60/40 city/highway. About 1mpg better than my X1....nice!!!
Also took her for a nice little drive as well, first good run after the cooling system R&R.....needle stayed straight up the whole time. Don't have the coolant gauge mod done yet as I'm having trouble getting the PA Soft reader from China working correctly.

Oil change and replaced the oil level sensor
Now that I've pulled the reinforcement plate, im confident it's okay to use as a lift spot, and worth squashing the dimple.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous
It occurred to me today that the HID kit installed in my fog lights by the PO may also be contributing to my CANBUS errors and fast blink. I plan on removing the kit entirely, repairing any wiring that may have been tapped into or altered, and going back to some nice PIAA halogen bulbs in addition to rebuilding the connectors and replacing the rear bulb carriers. Still hoping that there is not any damage to the LCM itself.
