I won't disagree with this...I do realize people in many cases don't know how to park let alone drive, but in the case of this zhp, it looked like they parked just over enough to create as big a buffer and lower the door ding potential. I do this myself....or find end spots with curbs which allows you to get as close to it as possible and again increase the buffer.
+1. Find a place with minimal exposure to other vehicles. I try to stay farther out instead so close to the entrance. A little walk won't hurt.
