Ya that is about 15 minutes from my house. The DMV on Stephanie is a nightmare! I spent 3 hours there registering my M3.

Just about the same time it took me to get a drivers license. And that was with an appointment. On a mid-week. Registering one of my horses will be next.

Changed the oil today using bmw twin power turbo 5w30 and a Mann filter.

Then I removed the rear door cards to reseal the vapors with butyl tape. Hopefully this should solve the leaking I'm having. Plan on doing the front tomorrow as the passenger side leaks too.

Also tried to isolate some rattles today. I swear this is an ongoing process. I used some silicone sealant on the clips holding the door panels on, And taped up some of the loose cables as well as I could. I then stuffed some rags up into the rear deck, seems to help a little but time will tell.

I have a "squeak" somewhere around the rear seats. I have been trying to find it every since I bought the car, but with no luck. Happens when I drive on uneven roads, and is decently loud. Almost like leather rubbing on leather. But I still haven't been able to find it. Anyone deal with this? Very annoying!

I used dynamat and dynaliner to sound deaden my car far a more quiet 12 hour highway run next week. Sound deadened the doors, rear quarter panel, and trunk with strategic placement. I only added about 2lbs extra to the car. So far road noise is very solid. It's hard to explain but it's just more peaceful. Exhaust sound is the same, and the doors close with authority and bass. There's no extra rattle and it just a thud then silence!

I drove it. It's been two weeks. It started right up. Felt amazing to be back driving my ZHP, let alone a car!

Do you have any pics of where you placed your pads/liners? How many you used, etc?
