Looks good Charlie. I feel lucky to live in a state that doesn't require a front plate.

I just purchased a new Valentine V1 and connection kit for my Porsche to augment the installed K40.

I will feel much better regarding my ESM suite when driving long distances in my Porsche

I happen to live in a state where the State Police are really anal and are quick to pull over nice cars that don't have a front plate so I have mine installed. All I need now are my plates so I can get them mounted. I'm quite positive having this bracket will cause unnecessary drag but then for the speeds I will be driving primarily I don't expect having this license plate bracket to affect mileage too much

Now to reapply WD-40 to my M3 and ZHP's tow hook bracket ensuring they can be easily removed if necessary

I'd go with anti-seize or grease over WD40. Should hold up better over time.

    Charrie's 2008 Porsche 997 turbo

This weekend will be a busy weekend doing several upgrades to my Porsche.... more modding before my permanent plates get mounted

    1. Installing 6000k H11 bulbs into my headlight assemblies

    2. Taking off the front bumper to do the following:
    - upgrading fog lights to 6000k HID fogs

    - upgrading my turn signals to the DRL turn signals

    3. Refreshing a few fasteners

    4. Upgrading my rear license plate lights to LED lighting for a much cleaner look

    5. Upgrading my Porsche key fob to the 997.2 style key fob

    6. Apply leather treat inside my car (lots of leather to treat)

I let a very good friend of mine drive my Porsche the other evening...this was his response

After the drive my friend thanked me and told me he could never afford one of these cars on his pay. I told him I wanted him to enjoy the full experience of being in a car of this level and that I was glad he enjoyed himself. Love having good friends who are into cars as much as I am
