Yup that's the one... I went last year in July and they restored a few and were in the process of restoring a couple more...

Edit: on a weekday you can get a tour of the corvette factory as well... The factory and the museum are sort of next to each other...

That looks pretty cool. Though I'm not seeing operating hours past labor day. Possibly closed for the season?

I'm heading from Chicago, IL.

Edit: on a weekday you can get a tour of the corvette factory as well... The factory and the museum are sort of next to each other...

That could be done on the way down, if I wake up a little earlier.

Just a little update from Southeast Florida... I'm still planning to attend. I am actually considering chatting it up with the wife and seeing if she'd be willing to go with. Not sure if we could make it happen, but I'd love to make that happen...

Either way, I'm still about a 95% confirmed as to going. I haven't made hotel reservations yet, but hoping to see us make use of the Holiday Inn so that I can combine with points I have for a free room/upgrades.. Last time I managed a free upgrade to the biggest room on the property... Party in Joop's room!

O really?? I was referring to one of their properties I was at in California... The room I was in was a full 2 bedroom suite with pull out couch in the sitting room... Ok, so just a little party in Joop's room...
