    That's the same one I used... I don't know how to describe how to use it but here's a pic:

    Basically how it works is when you push it down on the fitting it pushes the plastic clip inward so you can pull the line off.

    yep that's it... it's like magic.... it's nearly impossible to get the hose off without it

    Buy the tool and save yourself a little heartache. I did both my cars without it. I used a pair of vice-grips and a pair of pliers to accomplish the same thing. One car I was able to do both fittings in about 30 seconds. The other one seemed to take me about 20 minutes. Lots of cursing involved.

    How much would it cost on the low-end to get headers and cats installed (parts + labor)?

    New or used headers? You can get headers off ebay for pretty cheap.

    Yeah, something like the ebay headers would work. Though looking into it, I'm not sure the emissions complications are worth it. I want a few more decibels from the exhaust. A bit more performance would be nice, but I might just stick with the exhaust side.

    Yes, but the adaptation stage is very very quick. I can reset mine and it'll be back to how it was within 15 minutes.
    I wish there was a way to just keep the "reset" values - I really ​like those values.
