I wish there was a way to just keep the "reset" values - I really like those values.
Did not know that, thanks BP!

When replacing the OFHG is it necessary to replace the hex bolts as well? Seems like an overkill to me but the ecstuning kit has the bolts included...

No. And easiest way to do that is just get a piece of cardboard out and draw a little diagram and stuff them into it in the respective order.

Hello all! New poster here so forgive me if this is not the correct place for this question. I did figure though that this is the kind of random question this thread was made for. So I bought my ZHP recently, a 2006 330ci, and in fact just registered it yesterday. The car runs and drives beautifully. However, there is one small thing that does in fact bug me, as I'm sure it would bug some of you as well, if you're half as anal as I am. Anyway, when looking at the front of my car, I noticed that on one side of the grill, it is flush to the light fixture/trim while the other side seems to be a little askew and further in front of said trim. I thought maybe this could be fixed by adjusting the hood but I thought to come here and ask before I go messing about. Here are a few pics... Any help would be much appreciated! Name: image.jpeg

If these pictures don't do it justice just let me know. Thank you again!

Welcome! Has the vehicle been involved in any sort of accident?

According to the previous owner a small frontal one, but he replaced the bumper and hood with oem parts... Which is why I was hoping it was just misaligned. I also checked the area behind it and behind the light to see if there was any damage on the inside that would not be seen from the outside, and everything seems to be alright I.e. No damage, or at least to my untrained eye.

    Welcome. Enjoy your stay.

As for the grills. I also recently replaced my grills to the Gloss Black. This is just me. I am not too into the black grills. They do not really seat that well. There are gaps. And they are lose. Maybe I just might decide to remove them and put back the chrome grills. And sell the black grills.

Hopefully my response helps.....the grills are not perfectly fit and seated.
