The cap looks nicer, though I kind of like the 90 degree-nes of the locking on the square one.
Yesterday:
-Changed oil + filter
-Tightened drivers side swaybar link
-Re-torqued wheels (alignment shop over-tightened)
Today:
-Part 2 of steering wheel trimming
I bought a lint shaver and hit the steering wheel with that. It took a while, but it got rid of the longer pieces of fluff. The wheel feels smoother. Now I just need to do a second run with the Mr Clean Eraser and I think it will be done. I'll save that for next week.

Switched fuel pump relay with horn relay b3cause I'm too lazy to buy a new one. Testing to see if it fixes cold start issue. Car is driving a bit better it seems but might be placebo

interesting... so that's coolant running through the lower port? interesting that only that area of the gasket failed. seems like a terrible idea. great way to mix oil + coolant and give you a heart attack.My project from today. E90 oil filter housing gasket. Conveniently place at the top of the engine on these.
That one bolt was odd to get too, but overall not bad.

Yes it does happen to from what I read. This was a very early diagnosis. I've seen way worse pictures when I started looking for a DIY.
