    Big big week for the zhp and myself.

    My first set of PSS ever. Nothing like getting summer tires installed during the first big storm of the winter. #california.

    Also moved into my first home, rented. Which means my first garage and the first garage for the ZHP since I bought it 3 years ago this month. A good bday present, I think. Spending way too much money to rent a 3bd home. #california

    @Shawn

    Looks good and flush to me. It definitely took me a while to get mine to sit right (had to bend it a bit). I'm surprised so many of the trim clips got chewed up. I've removed my dash trim several times with no issue. Maybe I better have a few on hand.

    BMW or some other brand of caps? They look good!

    @Stephen

    Congrats on the move. So very envious of that garage!

    Good stuff guys. As for myself, on Friday the MINI got an alignment at my Indy. Some of you may remember the dealer performed a free alignment 3 months ago. But they did a bad job (car was pulling to the right, steering wheel not centered). So I asked my Indy to fix the dealer's work.

    Cheaper ones were available that look the same for 1/4 the cost, but I went genuine BMW from FCP Euro. I'm just particular that way.

    I've been wanting a mirror with auto-dim and HomeLink since I got my car over a year ago, but just wasn't willing to spend the crazy money people were asking for them. Needing the special 315Mhz version for the vert compounded my apprehension. But, I set up a search on eBay and just kept watching. Patiently. Finally, one popped up on eBay a couple of weeks ago. The seller listed it for $139 w/free shipping. Not bad, but I used the "make offer" button to put it an offer for $120 w/free shipping. Hey, if you don't ask... Anyway, he took the offer.

    Got it installed last night and everything works as expected. Yes!

    Check out the seller's eBay store slogan from the action photo. LOLs.

    Now I just need to figure how to wire the one I bought for my wife's E83 X3 that doesn't have the necessary wires.

    Cheers,
    SC

    Drove 410 miles to my in-laws. Longest trip over taken since I bought her. She ran great. And I got 29mpg averaging about 77mph.
