LOL. in the rear of the courthouse is the MTO office - getting plates for the Touring... which didn't happen, as their network was down. blah. gotta go back today.

What I meant by that comment is that ZHP's can't usually be obtained cheap enough to be able to do maintenance on them and sell them for a profit, considering what most ZHPs are valued at. That is why I am surprised that you were looking to make a profit - buying parts adds up, even if you're doing all the work. Whether or not I think $13,500 is reasonable is not something I'm going to comment on, just wanted to clarify my comment since you weren't sure what I meant by it.
I just didn't think you could have gotten a good enough deal on the Estoril ZHP to be able to make any profit on it considering its decent condition at purchase, that's all.
part of it is a labor of love, obviously. i love doing it. but i also have to pay myself for my time, so i would never take on a project if i didn't think it was feasible to do so. i will admit that with this car, i was smitten from the first time i saw it - and we all know that sometimes that can get you into trouble.![]()

If I just got rid of my ZHP and was looking for a replacement I could have picked the coupe up from you!
