    Rear shade is manual; I never put it down. Bought these years ago when the E46 was still in production.

    I also have the uber-rare "auxiliary fuel tank" that fits inside the spare tire. Holds about 3 gallons.

    I'm probably going to have tint applied to my coupe. I hope to find a factory manual shade like the one for my E39. A member here found one on Amazon recently, but not factory-issue.
    The black metal auxiliary fuel canisters came in 6 & 9 liter versions to fit within the different wheel diameters.

    Any of y'all that have the rear sum shades how are they being held on the window ? I'm really just considering buying aftermarket . Don't really like tint

    We had the side window shades in our e53. They rolled up and down. I was a really nice feature when the kids were infants...

    both the OE and aftermarket rear side door sunshades attached by clips. when not in use, you FOLDED the shades and placed them into a nylon bag of some sort and when they wee in use they expanded out on their own and snapped into clips that were placed on the inside window trim areas. they did not rull up nor were they power.

    yes I found a set that I am considering tha is pretty much exactly like the OE ones. theres a 2 rear pair set and a 4 piece set for front and rear.

    I like those , mmm 2 piece or the 4 . Probably just the two rears .
