Did you get your new CSL bootlid mounted? Did I see a pic???

On another note, I completed my Brembo GT BBK install on my ///M this afternoon with Botond's help. It is always more fun to do mods with people helping out...luckily I am within driving distance from Botond. He showed me his LED lighting setup tonight and I was impressed! They looked great

    Cleanliness is next to Godliness

Had the day off from work and had to choose between yard work and working on the ZHP. The car won. Just picked up the car a few months ago and have sorted the mechanicals. Now turning my attention to aesthetics. I received the parts I needed to refresh the center console so it seemed like a good time to pull the seats and clean the crud off of the carpet from the PO. The before pic does not show it all, but there were ample coffee stains and goo between the tunnel and seats. Came out pretty well with a mini carpet cleaner. As soon as my alcantara boots dry from their sonax bath I will put them in and post the refreshed console. It was killing me driving the car for the last 2 months without doing this. What a relief.

Looking good! The words "alcantara" and "bath" used together give me anxiety, but I'm curious to see the outcome.

Yea, bath is probably misleading. I used the Sonax Alcantara cleaner applied directly to the boot, lightly rubbing, but mostly patting with a white cotton tee shirt then lightly brushing with a soft brush. But, the sonax fully saturates the material. I used the same technique on a used alcantara wheel with better than expected results. I'll post the results when they dry out and I put them back in the car.

New wheels ordered. If anyone needs anything from ModBargains, there's a "tax season" promo going on right now. It's nothing huge, but every little bit helps.
