Damn, I thought $130 was too much, so I found a place that does it for a $100. There's a mechanic that does it for $50, which should be okay for most people or if you're planning on installing new parts soon.

it's something to consider if they do a good job. a good alignment means better tire wear and a better driving experience.

Tire Kingdom offered a similar service (I'm not sure if it's still a thing now that it's NTB). If I'm not mistaken, it was for the life of the tire, not the life of the vehicle. I could be wrong, it's been about 7 years since I was in a Tire Kingdom.

Yup. But not all Firestone outlets accept BMW's, I called 3-4 shops at my old place and they all said they don't/can't work on BMWs. A friend of mine has been going to one close to his place for the last 3 years however.

Firestone's definition of a lifetime alignment is: "for as long as you own your vehicle".
Smells like you are being lied to. I would interrogate them and ask them for a legitimate reason why they won't align your car if its suspension is stock.
