Are these a good replacement low beam bulb option for a zhp coupe?

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

I personally like a little higher that 4150, but that's personal preference. I had 4100k OEM in the X3, and replaced with 4500k Morimoto XBs and loved them. Great price for a quality bulb.

With that said, I really hate the 5000k bulbs in the ZHP right now (hoping I still have that pair of 85122s sitting around here somewhere).

If you can't find them, I have a used pair.

I've heard morimoto bulbs are good when new but don't last very long. How was your experience with them? Their price is appealing...

They're still running strong, and are right at 3 years old. I had an issue with one bulb flickering when it fired up (the X3 uses D1S bulbs), figured out it was the integrated D1S igniter, but the issue resolved itself before I got around to sending them back to TRS for an exchange.

If I can't find the 85122s I have in storage, I'll be ordering a pair of XBs (that way I'll finally get around to doing the clear lenses too).

    The Random E46/ZHP Question Thread

Anyone ever “wrap” their alcantara steering wheel when it starts to fade? Saw this on YouTube and it looks like a good temporary fix, considering adding some to the top left of the wheel where I rest my hand. Not sure how well it works/if it would harm the original alcantara

It'll sit at 50mpg until about 5mph, and then spike over to 12mpg really fast. When I come to a stop, it'll die back to 50mpg as I'm coasting (under 10mph). Then it'll raise to, and sit at, 30mpg while at a dead stop.
Mine was doing pretty much the same thing today. Slowing down to a stop in neutral would creep up to about fifteen as well. I feel like it doesn't happen every time I drive though.
