ha. i realized it's actually running a larger tire already - stock diameter is 27.1", these are actually 27.7" (245/45/19 up front and 275/40/19 in the rear). if i keep these wheels i'll likely keep this tire size, otherwise i'll go down to 18's and run 235/55/18 (28.2" diameter... so 1.1" larger than stock).
as it sits, it's pretty quick and delivered 25mpg in mixed driving on our 2000km trip over the last 5 days. so that's a mega win-win. skinnier tires would help the fuel economy, and also i don't know if it really needs 275's in the back.
further to all of that... after putting 2300km on in the last week since picking it up, i've realized that it's a darn good handling vehicle... so i might not lift it at all and put 2" larger AT tires on it.

it was great on our trip and my family loves it.
it IS going to get a bit of the ol' Slater Package though.

some mounts need attention (rear diff and trans mount in particular), and i think i'm leaning towards putting FSDs on it!
(and YES to the Baja Touring!!)
DUDE! that is an awesome pic! loving the 17x9 ARC-8s on there!!
