I replaced my DISA valve. I did the GAS repair on an old genuine BMW unit. It seems to be operating properly.
Below is an out of focus picture of the old aftermarket DISA valve. It's about 2 years old with under 16,000 miles. The o-ring and gaskets seem to be tearing themselves pretty rapidly. After looking online, I think I have a good guess of the manufacturer.
Replacing the o-ring was an option, but I'm not sure I trust the rest of the design of this thing...
