    18x9 ET42 would be the right choice for a sedan, and for keeping the track widths the same ratio F/R as they are stock. i hear you on the Call Of The Concave.... but dang man, you're going to need to roll the frig out of the rear fenders, and i don't think you're going to be happy with that.
    Check check check yo tread width bois. I keep seeing all this discussion of what wheels will fit what and 255's and blah blah so I looked up the specs for my wide ass 235/40r18 Coopers:

    Size Tread Width (mm)
    235/40R18 8.46 (215)
    245/40R18 8.82 (224)
    255/35R18 8.66 (220)

    yupyupyup the tread on my 235's is only 5mm narrower than the same tire in a 255 (note that the 245 is even wider!)

    Tire sizing is not even a little bit consistent.

    Where did you find the specs for the tires? I tried to find it on Tirerack but couldn’t find them...

    I found them on Cooper's website, but Tirerack has them for a lot of tires. Michelin PSS:

    You have to click on the "Specs" tab once you're viewing the tire;

    Then you see the widths;

    Is there any reason I couldn't or wouldn't want to use my current OEM sized staggard front and rear tires on four 18"x8.5" ET35 wheels? I'd hate to have to junk a set of tires.
    My problem is that the Apex SM-10s only come in a few offsets... none are really suitable for a staggered setup...
