Damn the finish on those seats looks brand spanking new! I mean, you scan still see the creases from age, but seriously dude, brand new.

I wonder if you could find some vinyl to to match the dash trim and wrap the worn lower steering wheel trim? I did it in my car and love how it flows with the dash pieces. Definitely my favorite interior change.

    Thanks, guys!

Yeah, I absolutely love the finish. I received the exact compliment from a friend yesterday when he opened the door and stepped in.
For creases and cracks in the leather, there's nothing you can do to get rid of it apart from getting the whole thing redyed, but this tones it down a lot. I'll definitely use leatherique again.

Interesting idea and in your case it turned out phenomenal, but I think I'll be replacing mine with a new piece. Mine had few spots were it worn down and showing white surface, so I used a wrong touch up paint as you can see in the pictures. I found a can of matte paint later...

    Looks fantastic!

Every time I see an interior shot of an E39 I think "man, that's weird that the shifter isn't in the middle of the console," and then when I would sit in my dad's car I'd think "nah, this is just right."

Yep, mine was beat up down to the plastic too. I ended up sanding the whole thing bare so that I could get a smooth finish with the vinyl. Don't write it off!

It should still work out fine with a wrap. I didn't sand my trim down like Pizza but it works for me. But if you want that factory fresh goodness...new will be pretty sweet.
