    Today got off my butt and mounted my stubby antenna











    I prefer the stubby antenna over the Jetta/Passat-like antennas

    Charrie's AUDI S4 Avant

    Been looking at summer wheels for my Avant and decided on getting a set of BBS LM wheels...



    BBS LM 18x8.5 5x112 ET40 Diamond Silver | Diamond Cut Rim LM183DSPK

    Summer setup using Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires:
    Front 225/40-18 on 7.5 inch ET48 wheels
    Rear 255/35-18 on 8.5 inch ET40 wheels

    Since winter will be here soon enough... I will start sourcing these wheels probably sometime after Christmas...then by early spring I can get some Michelins on them.

    Just to give you an idea the look I’m going for but not quite as low...

    I still have my red center caps from my ZHP's BBS wheels so I will simply use the red center caps when I get my LMs....assuming they will fit.

    Always good to have a vision to work towards whenever taking on a project like this. It will take a lot of time, patience and money to get this car to where I see it... but in the end it will be well worth it and since it is a 200k mile car, I am not worried about resale value and look forward to having fun rebuilding her Besides, I don't pick my cars solely on where I can save money... if it were about money then I would be driving a Prius
