Car looks even better after your work with dash and seat.
I actually had a bad experience with Satellite auto glass. They send joker to my house instead of professional guy. He showed talking with his friend on the cell phone and jump on my car without discuss all the fails with me. Also, he told me that he is not going to repair the damage, he was going to install a new windshield. I told him to leave, call the manager on duty and said that I no longer want to deal with them.
On the same day I realized that insurance is going to cover the hole replacement even if it's going to be done at dealership. So I made an appointment with BMW of Peobody, since they are closest, and change the windshield. My experience with them was pretty good.
Thanks Serg! Yeah the people at the glass shop really messed up this time around. They installed new windshields on two of my BMWs in the past without any issues then when they worked on my Porsche recently, they really messed up in a very bad way... anyway going forward I will never recommend this glass shop nor will I ever use them. Apparently, a bunch of incompetent hacks are working there these days.

I still have the windshield issue left by that "hack glass shop" to deal with but with all the recent b***sh** I have had to deal with, I'm going to give myself a break and give it a few months before readdressing the glass issue on my Porsche... I just don't understand the lack of "quality workmanship" from these so-called professional shops I have been seeing these days on friend's cars or even my cars...

They went to town on that dashboard. It's always disappointing to get something new installed and to find out other stuff has been screwed up.

It's been nothing but a frustrating experience... this will all be put behind in a few months...

It stinks because I also struggling to understand why some people have zero care when they doing job. It's not free and in most cases you paying serious money for a particular service and getting bad service and experience. It's frustrating!
    Good luck with that battle!

Sucks, but not surprised by it.

Problem is once you take any car to any shop you’re at the mercy of the people working at that shop.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

I left work early to address these issues at the collision center's manager and went over all the details and showed him the pictures of my "dented" passenger seat and what the results were of my efforts to repair those dents... I also took the time to convey the rage inside without putting him on the defensive and we had a good discussion as a result. I listened to him and he also in turn listened to me. When it was all over he offered to work with the glass shop's insurance adjuster to also add the replacement of my windshield since the glass shop botched this up as well.

I then went to service to address my non-functioning horn issue and reminded my service advisor exactly what needed to be done to my car to make the horn functional. I also fed back the issues to my passenger seat to the tech who actually worked on my car and let him know the actual condition of my car when I received it. He was noticeably affected by what he was told and I could see he took this hard. He assured me that he did take extreme care of my car while it was in his hands and I could see he was telling me the truth so I told him okay... I just wanted to feed back to all parties what happened so wherever the process that broke regarding repairs to my car will be taken care of so no other owner will have to go thru what I recently went thru. The tech is actually a good guy and I could tell he was still affected by what had happened to me. This is when I know I'm taking my car to a shop that actually care about their customer's car... even the head mechanic at the shop apologized to me for what had happened and I assured him it was okay as I was able to work everything out...

After all of this I feel much better going forward and look forward to more mods to my speed sled...to be perfectly honest when I left work I was not feeling too good about the whole situation and now after taking the time to "talk" to everyone at the dealer involved, I am feeling much better... It goes to show that sometimes you can get much farther by just talking to people rather than yelling at them...

I fully understand the issues you’ve been dealing with and why I left the automotive service occupation over 30 years ago. That is also why if I can’t do it myself, I pay the stealership the big bucks to do it for me. As of today and 11 years, 9 months and one day of my ZHP ownership, the only ones that have worked on her are the dealer and the tire store. At the tire store, a full picture set is taken of the wheels before and a walk through inspection with the service writer. I also do the pre walk threw at the dealership.
