BTW, Do you have any good "bang for the buck" recommendations for replacing the 6x9 subwoofers underneath the rear deck.

Hey Dave, unfortunately I don't have much first hand experience with the rear deck 6x9's. It was either in my e36 or the first build of my last e46 where I bought some speaker adapters to mount 6x9's inplace of the 5.25 or 6" rear deck speakers that fire into the cabin but I think those were the full range ones. I've always gone with a dedicated sub-woofer in my trunk and in the last couple builds I didn't run any speakers in the rear, only front stage.
