The color and the wheels is pretty much why I bought it. That and the 6-speed of course.
I can't explain it but I hate compact E36 and E46, they just look wrong.

The E36 compact I’ve always liked, probably because I knew someone who had one back in high school. The E46 compact, on the other hand...well I just pretend it was never a thing.

I like the e46 compact. It's like they updated the e46 looks and blended them into the next generation. I think they look pretty neat and a compact rwd car is.
