Hey, if you need a tester, I'd be happy to test it and send it back when done. I'm very familiar with coding and can turn it off to test the BlueBus.

Yeah just to be clear, his device can be set to have 3 blink or 5 blink. Some of us, me included, upgraded our LCM and had 3 blink coded already. I dont think 3 blink is enough and I was asking if I set the bluebus to 5 blink would it work okay with cars that already have 3 blinks coded.

I have 5 blinks coded on mine, but can adjust it to whatever number necessary for testing.

Haha, all good!

Right now it can:

* Play music

* Respond to the steering wheel controls

* Display on the OE screens

* Emulate the TCU (so you can take/make calls when listening to the radio, and not BT)

* 3/5 comfort blink

Soon it will also be able to auto-fold your mirrors when you park, but that's obviously for vehicles equipped with folding mirrors only.

There's more in the works, and I even discovered that I can do some pretty extensive coding through the IBus, so that will be fun :D

One suggestion on the E53 X5 LCI. If you can send the kbus message to fire the halo lights at key on, you will provide a feature that has only been accomplished with the Rolf Resler iBus adapter. It was the main reason I went with the Avin Avant-4 Android in that car. For years people with the LCI E53 have tried and tried to get those halos as DRL with no results and some resorting to rewiring them. You should be able to clean-up with the BlueBus with that feature over on the Xoutpost site.

I am running the factory MKIV navigation in my E46 with CD changer and will definitely be ordering the BlueBus for the E46 and pulling the outdated CD changer when it is ready. I already have the comfort blink (5) programmed in my LCM, folding mirrors on key fob and I am very happy with my ULF TCU so the A2DP steaming feature would be all I need.

Not beyond the video on bluebus.dev :/. I'm certainly not as good a film maker as Ryan, so I know it's nowhere near as good :D
