Hey guys so I’m noticing I have a small wet spot forming (like really small) coming from my valve cover & I plan on doing another valve cover gasket (though I feel this is premature wear and tear)
But I have a question, when I did it last I did the Valve Cover, Spark Plugs, Vanos Overhaul (no sensors or solenoids were changed)
Should I have replaced sensors such as the intake/exhaust solenoids, camshaft intake/exhaust sensors?
I get no codes across the board for such sensors but I wonder if I changing them would affect the performance of my car.
Edit:
Also have considered going the M56 Metal Valve cover route, just unsure of the benefits besides deleting the CCV system (which is brand new, pretty sure I did it in the last 6-8K miles or so)

I’m only aware of the CCV delete, and a potentially not warping valve cover (because it’s metal) with the m56 cover.

I’ve started to noticed a slight rattle from my passenger door when the window is down (either partially down or all the way). This rattle is not present when the window is up.
Could this be an early indication of a developing window regulator issue? The window doesn’t seem to have any issues going up or down (yet).

Can someone tell me where this small broken vacuum hose runs? I'm hoping it's the reason for my P0171 and P0174 codes.

The smaller vacuum hose on the F-connector has broken - those two pieces are meant to be connected. It goes to the fuel pressure regulator on your fuel filter. It snakes up from under the driver's seat to the driver's side firewall, is held in place by a rubber clip, where the vacuum line then runs to the F-connector (part #13-32-7-503-677).
